Conference venue

The conference will be located at the Barcelona East School of Engineering (EEBE) in Barcelona, on the Diagonal-Besòs Campus of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia, in the northeast coast of the Iberian Peninsula. Barcelona has a rich cultural heritage and is today an important cultural centre and a major tourist destination, with numerous recreational areas, one of the best beaches in the world, mild and warm climate, historical monuments, including eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Barcelona is a well-connected city. Barcelona international airport, with several terminals, is located 16 kilometres south of the city and is known as Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat. Barcelona operates a number of high-speed rail routes that connect the city with the rest of Spain and France. Numerous hotels can be booked in the direct neighborhood of the EEBE, or downtown (reached in 20 minutes by the city network).
